Sustainable, Beautiful Plans
Sustainable, beautiful plants for Colorado begin with sustainable nursery practices. One of the leading plant growers in the United States and Canada will discuss how those current practices affect plant heath and quality and address environmental concerns with research and practical experience. With Monrovia’s assistance, we will explore the nursery industry’s connection to the Sustainable Site Initiative and define “what is an “appropriate” plant?” and challenge you as a design professional to go beyond that current definition. See and take home a Distinctively Better® plant that is appropriate for sustainable design in Colorado.
Location: Gates Conference Room, 5th Floor, Denver Public Library (10 W. 14th Avenue Parkway, Denver, CO)
Time: 11:30am – 1:00pm – Bring your own brown bag lunch and a beverage.
Cost: (Advance Registration Preferred. Walk-ins will be seated if space is available)
