Every year, ASLA Colorado/Wyoming conducts an awards program to recognize professional excellence by its members in the practice of landscape architecture. The ASLA CO/WY chapter models its awards program on the ASLA National awards program, and encourages entrants to submit to both.
A Call for Entries is typically issued in May, with a submission deadline in July. Entries are then judged by an ASLA chapter outside of Colorado, and projects are awarded at the chapter’s annual gathering and celebration, typically held in September. Award-winning projects are displayed on the chapter’s website and are also used in advocacy campaigns and at public events.
For consideration, you must complete your online submission by:

Entries received after that time and date will be rejected, so please start your application early in order to fully submit the entry before 5 pm.
All winning projects will be announced at the ASLA CO/WY Annual Awards Event and Celebration. The celebration will be held on:

The entry process uses a single online form to collect firm/project information and submission materials. Before initiating the process, have all of your materials and files collected and prepared for upload. In-progress forms cannot be saved to return to later, and edits or additions cannot be made to the online form once it has been submitted. Below is a checklist of all required materials for the submittal process:
All entries must be submitted by a member of ASLA CO/WY, with the exception of entries in the Communications, Research, and Landmark Award categories, which may be submitted by anyone.
Award winners may be asked to provide additional images and/or a brief video about the project for use in chapter events and online.
Step 1 – View the Call for Entries PDF for details about the award submission requirements.
Step 2 – Register as a user on the ASLA Colorado website. You will be given a username and password for logging into the website.
NOTE: If you registered in a prior year, please login to your account to get started.
Step 3 – Once you are registered for the site, you can start your Award Submission. You must be logged in.
Step 4 – Submit payment for each award submission. After payment, you will see a list of all award submissions you have made and the details you have submitted.
