The Japanese Garden Approach – Lecture

August 31 @ 6:00 pm 9:00 pm MDT

Japanese gardens are a living and formative art. They are rooted in a relationship with nature, culture and people. Over the course of a 1,500-year history, various Japanese garden styles were created by people inspired by different turns of events like a new religion, philosophy or societal shifts. However, through it all, the approach has remained the same. In this lecture, learn how a Japanese garden approach offers a relevant, relationship-centered model for how we can connect to our landscape today.
