City of Lakewood Landscape Architect, Nestor Fedak, is reaching out to the ASLA community in search of volunteers to participate in transforming an iconic corner of the Lakewood community at West Colfax Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard! This highly visible parcel of land will be revitalized from a dirt-filled corner to an urban sculpture walk oasis and gathering space with raised gabion planters, boulders for seating, ambient lighting, and a spectacular 28-foot-tall sculptural centerpiece.Volunteer registration is now open for the build weekend, June 18-19, and the plant weekend, July 9-10.
