Plan West is looking for an entrepreneurial professional with 10+ years of experience in land planning, site design and entitlement management.  We are seeking an experienced landscape architect who has project management experience and is ready for the opportunity to take on a leadership role in the design studio for in a broad spectrum of land development programs.  Responsibilities will include building relationships with existing clients, marketing to new clients, and project management ranging from due diligence and  proposal writing to entitlements, approvals and development.  We value the inquisitive mind, a positive outlook, and an engaging personality that will help lead our collaborative team and continue to create great places.  We are looking for self-motivated professional to help us support landowners, developers, and municipalities in a wide spectrum of land planning and land development programs.

Skills and talents we value for a professional with 10+ years of experience:

• Professional experience and background with land development, land use planning, site design, design detailing, and urban design
• Experience as a studio leader as well as a desire to participate in a supporting role on projects led by others
• Creative design skills, a mind for problem solving, strong people skills, and presentation abilities
• Knowledge and experience with zoning documents and entitlement management for the review and approval process with municipal governments and agencies
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to clearly convey ideas verbally, graphically, and in writing
• Personal character with an engaging personality is as important as design and technical skills
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Landscape Architecture Registration
