We are seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Architect/Planner who is interested in being part of a growing, innovative, and energetic team. The position includes design and construction documentation for a diverse portfolio of project types including master planned communities, community amenities, streetscapes, parks and open space, community identification and theming.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to change gears at a moment’s notice. The applicant will have solid organization skills, excellent written communication skills, excitement for learning new skills, be willing to ask for help, be efficient when addressing and producing assigned tasks, the ability to comfortably work in a team and independently, willing to take initiative, and be self-motivated and flexible. A good sense of humor and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in landscape and planning design for municipality package submittals.
  • Assist in developing design concepts.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal team and consultants.
  • Conduct construction administration.
  • Site visits, prepare punch lists, and communicate with contractors, product representatives and consultants.
  • Assist in preparing construction document sets. Layout and grading plans, planting plans, details, and specifications.
  • Prepare cost estimates.
  • Produce project graphics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 0-5 years of related experience.
  • Proficient use of AUTOCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated experience in using AutoCAD for landscape architecture or planning projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize creativity and problem solving in design work.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Base compensation range: $50,000-$60,000, dependent on experience.
