What you’ll be doing

  • Using your professional experience in the creative and technical aspects of the profession for the design and development of public projects including parks, trails, and stream restorations;
  • Developing site design, layout plans, grading plans with minimal oversight;
  • Preparing and working with staff to complete construction document sets;
  • Interacting with multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Performing construction administration;
  • Collaborating with the team in determining project details and deadlines;
  • Leading project meetings, presenting at public meetings, and board, commission, or council meetings.

What we’re seeking

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in landscape architecture;
  • 5-8 years of progressive landscape architectural experience, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture;
  • Licensure in the State of Colorado a plus;
  • Irrigation design experience a plus;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Technical knowledge – grading, detailing, construction practices
  • Self-motivated and proactive approaches to work products;
  • Effective organizational skills that help prioritize and manage teams, projects, and deadlines.

Compensation and benefits

  • This position, once established, has the option of a hybrid schedule;
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO) starting with 15 days off per year – prorated for the first year;

  • Simple IRA that includes company match;
  • Base compensation range: $70,000-$90,000, dependent on experience;
  • Company sponsored membership to ASLA and CLARB, and paid state licensing dues.
